ODESZA Shares New Music Video for "Love Letter"

GRAMMY-nominated duo ODESZA much-anticipated new album ‘The Last Goodbye’ has launched on to the Billboard charts, landing at #2 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and #11 on the Billboard 200, as well as #2 on Top Vinyl Albums, #3 on Top Independent Albums,  #3 on Top Current Album Sales and #3 on Top Album Sales.

The album, which dropped via Foreign Family Collective/Ninja Tune, came in advance of their new video for album highlight “Love Letter (feat. The Knocks)” starring acclaimed Bridgerton-star Simone Ashley and featuring Yuji Okumoto (star of Cobra Kai), in a format more akin to a short film than standard music video. “Love Letter (feat. The Knocks)” serves as the perfect score as the camera follows Simone throughout a series of tribulations, and ultimately, triumphs.

The GRAMMY-nominated duo of Harrison Mills & Clayton Knight’s latest album was not only embraced by fans, but also by critics, with Associated Press proclaiming “ODESZA is back and more experimental than ever”, Billboard saying the album is “full of lush soundscapes, grandiose moments and productions that are equally complex and emotive”, and Pitchfork stating “Knight and Mills have found themselves at their most introspective just as they’re primed to make a bigger splash on the stage than ever before.”

With singles like the title track featuring the legendary Bettye LaVette and the recent Ólafur Arnalds collab, “Light Of Day”, receiving acclaim from the likes of NY Times and Billboard, among others, ‘The Last Goodbye’ is a stirring collection rife with brightness and emotion, wistful yet rooted in the present. With additional guest appearances by Julianna Barwick, Izzy Bizu, Charlie Houston, Låpsley & MARO, the record is sweeping in nature, delicately and deftly crafted by the duo, as they create a score that mirrors the cyclic nature of life and interconnection.

Following the monumental success around their GRAMMY-nominated last album ‘A Moment Apart’, the new LP is an experience that speaks to themes of connection, reminiscence, and the impact we impart on one another. It’s a vivid celebration of the people and moments that have left their mark on our existences, reverberating throughout the record in the form of interwoven samples from personal home movies and childhood memories, showcasing the origins of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight juxtaposed against the bold, boundary-pushing production techniques they have become synonymous with.

The duo has cultivated a diehard fanbase of massive proportions: known for their groundbreaking, awe-inspiring and immersive live performance, which exceeded 2.85 million fans over the course of their ‘A Moment Apart’ tour. They also have had headline performances at the likes of Coachella, Lollapalooza and more, as well as beloved festivals in Asia, We The Fest (Indonesia) and Good Vibes Festival (Malaysia) along with headline shows in Singapore.
