Kaskade and deadmau5's New Project Kx5 Debut Single “Escape (Feat. Hayla)” Goes Viral Worldwide

deadmau5 and Kaskade have officially joined forces to form a unique collaborative union Kx5. The project made its formal debut in March with the release of “Escape (feat. Hayla)”, a brand new single featuring rising British singer-songwriter Hayla which made its live debut at EDC Las Vegas in May.

Kx5 is a collaboration over a decade and a half in the making. GRAMMY-nominated artists deadmau5 and Kaskade effectively changed the electronic music landscape when they paired together for 2008’s slow-burning “I Remember” and the influence of their follow up “Move For Me”, cementing their influence as the standard. Both tracks peaked at No. 1 within a week of one another on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, followed by 2016’s ominous “Beneath with Me” featuring Skylar Grey.

“Escape (feat. Hayla)” is jointly released under deadmau5 and Kaskade’s respective labels, mau5trap and Arkade, and has already accumulated over 44 million streams since its release, and entered Viral Charts across the globe including Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
