ASUS Republic of Gamers formally announced the arrival of the much-awaited lineup of AMD Ryzen 6000 powered gaming laptops in the Philippines at the ROG Rise of Gamers 2022 Digital Launch Event. Showcasing refined style, power, efficiency, and signature ROG features, the whole AMD Ryzen 6000 gaming laptop lineup are sure to be on gamer’s wish lists.

Headlining the new lineup is the all new 2022 model of the ROG Zephyrus G14. This award winning small yet powerful laptop brings a host of new upgrades across the board and is already making waves across the globe. The bigger brother, the ROG Zephyrus G15 also joins the lineup with upgraded specs and an improved keyboard experience. The ultimate dual screen gaming laptop experience is also now made even better with the all-new ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 with all new Mini-LED display technology and the removal of the gap between the main and secondary Screenpad Plus displays. In addition, new models of the already available Ryzen 6000 laptops in the TUF Gaming A15 and A17 as well as the ROG Strix G15 and G17 also join the now complete lineup of AMD gaming laptops.

Every Game is Your Game with the new Zephyrus G14
The critically acclaimed ROG Zephyrus G14 packs plenty of gaming power into a stylish and ultraportable form factor. The new G14 comes with up to an AMD Ryzen™ 9 6900HS processor and up to an AMD Radeon™ RX 6800S Mobile GPU which harnesses AMD exclusive technologies such as Smart Access Memory and AMD SmartShift. The laptop also features a MUX Switch to deliver outstanding performance. High-speed DDR5 4800 MHz RAM and a 1 TB PCIe® SSD enable responsive multitasking across the system and fast load times in-game.

The G14 is also one of the first ROG laptops to feature the Nebula Display™, which offers a 120 Hz refresh rate at QHD with a 3 ms response time and Adaptive-Sync for smooth, tear-free gaming. It also supports Dolby Vision® HDR with 500 nits of peak brightness and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut with Pantone® validation for a stunning, color-accurate experience. The display has been expanded to a 16:10 aspect ratio, which increases screen real estate without sacrificing portability, since its small bezels offer a 91% screen-to-body ratio.

A custom vapor chamber spans 48.2% of the mainboard, covering the CPU, GPU, and VRM. Providing about 50% more contact with system components compared to standard heatpipe designs, it increases thermal transfer for all crucial components. The G14 also comes equipped with Arc Flow Fans™ that provide a distinct variable fan thickness design to keep airflow high while minimizing turbulence and excess noise. Thermal Grizzly liquid metal on both the CPU and GPU allows the G14 to remain cool under all conditions, drastically improving GPU power up to 105 watts without sacrificing any of the portability of its 14-inch form factor. In the Silent operating mode during low-power tasks, 0 dB ambient cooling technology allows the fans to be automatically disabled for a truly silent experience.
For 2022, the lid is now covered with 14,969 precision CNC‑milled holes and 1,449 mini LEDs on models with the now-iconic AniMe Matrix display. With more LEDs than last year’s model, new animations to customize the look of the machine are possible.

The Zephyrus G14 also now has an upgraded audio experience with improved speaker placements, improved and larger trackpad, 180-degree Ergolift hinge, plus the inclusion of an 2D/3DNR IR enabled Web Camera for online meetings and face unlock using Windows Hello.

The Zephyrus G14 is available in Eclipse Grey or Moonlight White, featuring a Prismatic Logo nameplate with a holographic, reflective hue.

Zephyrus G15 is now upgraded for 2022
One of last year’s best gaming laptops is also refreshed and upgraded for 2022. The bigger brother of the G14, the Zephyrus G15 also comes with a whole host of improvements to please the lifestyle gamer out there.

On the forefront of the 2022 edition of the Zephyrus G15 Is the updated CPU and GPU now with up to an AMD Ryzen™ 9 6900HS processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU at an upgraded TGP of up to 120W and MUX Switch. Also upgraded is the much faster DDR5 RAM combined with super-fast PCIE 4.0 SSD to prevent loading screens.
The 2022 edition of the Zephyrus G15 now comes with up to a QHD 240Hz refresh rate for fast-paced action anywhere. This display is color accurate for up to 100% DCI-P3 coverage, certified for Dolby Vision and Pantone Validated for color-accurate work.

A new addition to the Zephyrus G15 is the inclusion of a 2D/3DNR IR Enabled Web Camera built for Windows Hello face unlock and an improved keyboard and larger trackpad for a better experience. A 180-degree Ergolift hinge for making it easier to share content, and a powerful six-speaker setup complete the upgraded Zephyrus G15 experience.

The Most Powerful Dual-Screen Laptop Arrives with the Zephyrus Duo 16

Zephyrus Duo 16 takes things to a whole new level. Featuring ROG ScreenPad Plus™, this 14.1-inch secondary screen reinvents what’s possible on a laptop. Users can host favorite apps on ROG ScreenPad Plus™ while gaming and never have to worry about minimizing gaming windows. With robust Windows 11 support, they can also quickly switch between apps or rearrange the screens when priorities change.

When the main lid is raised, the ROG ScreenPad Plus automatically rises to match, settling in at a 13° angle for maximum ergonomics and airflow. The engineering team developed and patented a brand-new four-directional hinge that allows ROG ScreenPad Plus to slide back while raising at the same pace. When at full height, the two screens sit flush with each other, creating a nearly bezel-free viewing experience for unparalleled immersion. ROG’s AAS Plus 2.0 system takes advantage of the 28.5 mm of free space between the screen and chassis to take in 30% more fresh air than traditional gaming laptop designs.
 
The Zephyrus Duo 16’s main display has been upgraded to a 16:10 aspect ratio, allowing more real estate with ultraslim bezels and an incredible 91% screen-to-body ratio. This QHD, 16:10, 165 Hz Nebula HDR panel uses mini LEDs that are capable of an eye‑watering 1100 nits of peak brightness. Nebula HDR is VESA DisplayHDR™ 1000 certified, boasting 512 dimming zones for a truly out‑of‑this‑world HDR experience. Powered by AUO's AmLED technology and ROG's Nebula HDR Engine, Nebula HDR uses incredibly precise backlights for local dimming that produces stunning contrast. This software combination of adaptive image processing paired with adaptive dimming and boosting of the backlight helps deliver incredibly accurate imagery with minimal haloing.

Up to AMD Ryzen™ 9 6900HX processors and an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 Ti Laptop GPU with 165W Max TGP and MUX Switch to provide more than enough horsepower to maintain high refresh rates in the latest AAA titles. Not content to stop there, ROG also equipped the machine with up to 64 GB of blazing fast DDR5 memory clocked at 4800 MHz, as well as up to 4 TB of PCIe® Gen 4x4 storage in a RAID 0 array.

New for 2022, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is equipped with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal. This amazing material has 17 times higher thermal conductivity than traditional thermal pastes, allowing the Zephyrus Duo 16 to run 15° C cooler. Lower temperatures allow the CPU and GPU to boost higher for longer, coaxing even more performance from this powerful machine.

The Zephyrus Duo 16 will be available in the Philippines starting Late June 2022.

New Models of the Strix G15 and G17 join the fray

The 2022 ROG Strix G series recently arrived in the Philippines and are now available at local stores. Now joining the lineup are even more models of the Strix G15 and G17 with new options going up to QHD 240hz for displays and now up to a Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU with MUX Switch for those who want the best performance for esports titles.

A new color option is now available in Electro Punk as well as the already available, classic Eclipse Grey colorway.

These esports focused models are ready for anything gamers can throw at it from intense FPS games like Valorant, Triple-A games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and classic favorites such as Dota 2 and Diablo 2 Resurrected.

The already available 2022 TUF Gaming A15 and A17 are also getting new models.
