I’m not a parent, but living in an extended family has thought me so many things in life including how to take care of the young ones. And being an uncle to an 8-year-old girl is more of a blessing in life than a challenge. That’s why in this review blog, I invited my niece and asked for her opinions about the HUAWEI MatePad T 8 Kids Edition.

At a very young age, my niece has been introduced to a wide range of mobile gadgets that have been sharing with her some incredible and funny stuff and the idea that amaze us most of the time. From having a tablet at a very young age, Elaisha has her smartphone, tablet, and laptop now, which she usually uses for online school, for entertainment, and communication with us. And as much as we want to control her screen time, being at home now due to pandemic, we were left with no choice but to let her keep playing with her gadgets until she gets tired of playing them – a habit I believe most of the parents around the world are guilty of now.

“I like the size of it. It’s not that small like my phone, but it’s not that big like my other tablet. Though I hope that I can choose the case, because this one looks like for boys only, I like how handy it is. And oh, there’s also a pen at the back of the case, which I can use in some of the games. I don’t think I will lose this one, because it is tied up in the case, and it has this space at the back,” my niece Elaisha shared as I asked for her initial reaction on the HUAWEI MatePad Kids T 8 Kids Edition.

Right now, the available case color is the one that you can see in my photos. This Kids Case is made from environment-safe silicone consisting of a blue shell and light green grips, it is comfortable and enjoyable to hold for small hands. The tablet’s case also features curved backs, giving its users a delicate and rounded grip. Both the Kids Case and the stylus pen meet the European Standards on the Safety of Toys and pass the Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS), which will let parents feel safe and secure while allowing their children to enjoy the HUAWEI MatePad T 8 Kids Edition.
