More Moments to Share at Taal Vista Hotel
There are moments in my life that I prefer to be alone – I just like savoring a quiet time where I get to talk to myself, set limitations, list new goals and relax my emotions. However, most of the time, I still prefer being surrounded by people especially with positive, fun, “influential” and loving people like my friends. Thanks to Taal Vista Hotel, my recent weekend getaway with friends was made more memorable and meaningful with its luxurious but convenient accommodation, comforting and filling meals and one-of-a-kind services and amenities.
Just a few hours south of Metro Manila, city dwellers usually flocked to Tagaytay City to get a glimpse of the world-renowned Taal Volcano as well as to enjoy the cool weather of Tagaytay. Our group checked-in at the Taal Vista Hotel around pass lunchtime, welcomed by the traditional music coming from the folk dance performers of the Veranda, Taal Vista Hotel’s main restaurant.
We were still full from our breakfast, but since Veranda’s ambiance is so inviting, and its buffet spread is nothing short of the most comforting Filipino food we craved for, we feasted on their offerings while enjoying the performances that any local or international guest shouldn’t miss.
Taking a little walk from our filling lunch, we saw how Taal Vista takes pride of its history. Hence, if you will go around the hallways to its ballrooms, you’ll see pictures and stories of the place posted in its walls – hey, it’s one of the oldest yet well-maintained structures in the city.
Finding comfort from our all-time favorite comfort food – pizza - by the afternoon, our group spent some time in Taza Fresh Table, a more private dining spot in the hotel offering fresh meals and homey feel and services. By dinner, we went back to Veranda since the weather is getting unpredictably cold and rainy. Well, nothing beats a warm soup and a copy dining place with good music, right?
We savored that Saturday night by lounging in the hotel’s lobby enjoying their latest offering, the Bubble Milktea and right after, sipping some cocktails by the bar while listening to the guest acoustic band playing.
The following morning, despite of the cold weather, we jumped in to the pool.
Moments like these were something to treasure that will be forever grateful.
Moment for Always
Recently, Taal Vista Hotel is hosting various exhibit for local artists to showcase their arts and craftsmanship. In addition, to support further this advocacy of promoting local talents, they launches “Moments for Always at Taal Vista Hotel” – a photo contest open for budding photographers.
Entries for this photo contest must be taken between the dates September 7 to November 7, 2019 and must follow the themes (1) Creative and captivating nature inspired, landscape photos at Taal Vista Hotel, (2) Emotive and engaging family, friends, portrait or lifestyle photos at Taal Vista Hotel and (3) Food with story photos at Taal Vista Hotel.
Photos taken using a Digital SLR or mirrorless cameras, in full color or B&W, are only allowed and (a) MUST NOT contain watermarks or any identifying mark, (b) MUST NOT have been submitted or won in any photography contest, (c) MUST NOT violate any of privacy of any persons and (d) MUST NOT contain images of elected government officials.
Participating photographs should be printed on matte photo paper, 8”x12” borderless, and must be accompanied by high-resolution electronic file in JPEG format saved in CD (with complete contact details) or through email to michael.sagaran@taalvistahotel.com.
Top 25 finalists will be display at Taal Vista Hotel, Lake Wing hallway from November 16 to December 16, 2019. The announcement and awarding of winners will be held during the opening ceremony of the “Moments For Always” photo exhibit on November 16, 2019, Taal Vista Hotel, Lake Wing exhibit area. ALL winning and all other entries shall be the property of Taal Vista Hotel.

There are just some place that you’ll never get tired visiting over and over again – and in my case, Taal Vista Hotel is one of them. Its relaxing vibe topped with excellent amenities and services made this place so close to my heart. Let us add its appetizing meals that are just perfect to warm my tummy and its historical background that makes it more worth experiencing.
