Exciting New Things from Waterside at Solaire

The chillaxing and adventurous vibe of summer may be over – but the with the right combination of food, music and ambiance, we don’t have to worry that much albeit the unpredictable weather we have every single day. At the exquisite Waterside at Solaire in Paranaque City, a great ensemble of food, music and ambiance are combined to give us that summer-ish, Latin flavor that we can somehow consider a good ol’ summer treat!

Last Friday, together with some blogger friends, we were treated to a sumptuous, exquisite but homey food, music and ambiance at Waterside at Solaire. Located at the ground floor or Solaire Resort, across the Oasis Garden, Waterside has been a popular destination among expats and locals who crave from inspiring and authentic Latin experience. For our stay, not only we are treated to their wondrous Weekend Jam, we were also brought to their Taco Tuesday and even let us experienced their Sunset Hours that filled our eyes, ears and tummies with their amazing offerings.

Taco Tuesday
Excited to treat yourself for the week? Head here at Waterside on a Tuesday night and indulge to their sinfully good selection of Tacos that will surely hit the right spot of your cravings. Priced for only Php100.00 per taco, bite in to their selection of hard and soft tacos.

Conchinita Pibil Taco

Huevors Ranchero Taco

Cauliflower Al Pastor, Chicken Enchilada, Cilantro Beef and Baja Fish Tacos

Pair those up with their Polynesian-style Mai Tai, which are a rum-base cocktail, and I’m sure that your night is as amazing as the restaurants ambiance.

Coco Nut, Trader Vic and Caribbean Mai Tais

Waterside has three Mai tai cocktail flavors to choose from – the Coco Nut, which is mix of Rum, Orange Peanut Cream, and Orange Curacao; the Trader Vic, which is made of Rum, Orgeat and Orange Curacao; and the Caribbean, which is has Rum, Orgeat, habanero Lime, and Passion Fruit Syrup.

The best thing about these Mai Tai, they are 50% off during Taco Tuesday!

Weekend Jam
For those who have hectic weekdays, well, I guess Waterside’s Weekend Jam is the right party for you. Celebrated every Friday and Saturday at 7pm, this weekend treat will give you that authentic Latin experience coupled with unlimited nachos and overflowing margaritas while being serenaded by Waterside’s guest artists.

Salad Bar

Nacho Bar

Gambas Al Ajillo

Waterside never falls short with appetizing dishes from the Latin region. In addition, for this Weekend Jam, aside from the nachos and margaritas, they proudly present to everyone their signature dishes including the Salad Bar highlighted by their imported Tapas, Fajita, Arroz with their star course Paella Valenciana, grilled steaks from their La Parilla, and my favorite, the Desserts.

Paella Valenciana

Paella Negra

Brazo de Mercedes

Our group had to order two types of the Arroz – the Paella Valenciana and the Paella Negra. Available in two serving sizes, these two comforting dishes highlights our dining experience that night while listening to the wondrous voice of guest Jazz artist, Ms. Emcy Corteza Faustino.

Chocolate Coffee Cream Slice

Waterside promised to bring more local Jazz artists in support of Solaire’s advocacy to promote OPM shows and world-class Broadway productions.

Waterside Hours
For more exciting times, Waterside also offers the Sunset Hours that will keep you at ease while savoring the few minutes of the sunset by the bay. Unlimited margaritas, wine and beer paired with unlimited nachos are available every day from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

While for the late night treats, Waterside spices up with Twilight Hours between 10:00 pm and 1:00 am, which comes with Latin-inspired bites and snacks.

Both Happy Hour treats are available starting at Php795.00 per person.

Waterside’s mouth-watering menu is carefully curated by its South Africa-born chef Hylton Le Roux – a season chef well known for his freestanding restaurants in London, including the popular restaurants of Gordon Ramsay such as the one at Savoy Hotel London, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and The Fat Duck.
