Storytelling in the Digital Age at DigiCon 2017

The Internet Mobile and Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), the country’s premier digital marketing organization, will stage the second digital congress (DigiCon), the biggest gathering of marketing practitioners this year. Carrying the theme “DX: The Culture of Digital Transformation,” the event puts the spotlight on culture as a means to help Filipino marketers adapt in this era of digitization.

Apart from culture, DigiCon 2017 will also be focusing on the new age of storytelling, highlighting topics on virtual reality and immersive storytelling, among others.

For the past couple of years, the marketing world has been abuzz with brand storytelling. As new technologies allow audiences to consume and interact with content across a variety of mediums, marketers and story-makers are inclined more than ever to expand their narrative universes across multiple platforms.
