Denim Love at the Penshoppe DenimLab

Penshoppe once again proved that denim is indeed the clothing for all season, and despite of the sunny or rainy weather in the country, everyone will always have a good reason to style up and carry the denim that you love in any way you want it.

And happening this week, at the activity center of Glorietta in Makati City, Penshoppe is celebrating the Pinoy’s love on denim through Penshoppe Denim Lab – a DIY-denim-customization project heralded by some of the countries budding artists such as Mara Reyes, Archie Geotina, KITA and JP Le Pew.

“Penshoppe has always been very vocal about its vision to provide everyone with easy access to fashionable clothes that are no-nonsense,” shares Jeff Bascon, Brand Director of Penshoppe. “Trendy, functional and flattering, these new denim pieces allow anyone to explore more styles and wear them confidently without sacrificing comfort.”

Divided into two sections – the purchasing area and the DIY area, Penshoppe DenimLab is set to give its patrons a chance pimp up their recently purchased Penshoppe demin pieces through patches and studs – designed by the team of Mara, silkscreen and paint – designed by the team of Archie, Kita and JP.

With an out-of-town trip coming this coming weekend, I bought Penshoppe’s newest soft and smooth hoodie denim jacket and a black denim skinny pants – lakas maka-bagets, di ba? Hahaha! I asked for some patches and studs to be added on my denim hoodie and pants, but I asked Mara Reyes to distress my pants a little to add more texture to it. And I love it.

For every purchase of Php500 worth of Penshoppe denim, you can have your denims customized with patches, studs, hand painting and silk screen prints. Penshoppe Denim Lab Bar will be available today until July 26, 2017 at Glorietta 2, Activity Center!
