Weekend Pampering at Zen Institute
Not your ordinary beauty salon or clinic, The Zen Institute, which branches expands in Quezon City, Taguig City and in Sto. Tomas Batangas, is a medical spa built and continuously being developed by Dr. Mary Jane "MJ" S. Torres, MD.
"The Zen Institute believes that from our inner peace comes true beauty. With the harmonious combination of medical science, creativity and aesthetic sense, we pursue holistic health which in turn manifests itself in true beauty," shared by Dr. MJ Torres during our meeting at her clinic in Quezon City.
A fine and soft-spoken lady whose aim is to spread beauty among women and men who feel little of themselves, Dr. Torres was so happy to share to me that morning that the main reason for her in striving of giving the best and finest service is the inspiration she got from her mom. Life wasn't that easy for their family, but through perseverance and dedication, she was able to establish a brand of service that suit to every Filipino's needs and budget.
On my my visit at their clinic, I was welcomed by the usual smiling staff who are so eager to offer me the services they have. It is advisable to call them first for consultation appointment.
I wasn't there for any major, really. I just need some Diamond Peeling and Radio Frequency for Facial Rejuvenation since going out on tons of beach trips during summer til mid June, I guess it's just about time that I really take some skin pampering, most specially on my face. But just in case you need to know, Zen Institute specializes on Facial Contouring, Body Sculpting, Image-Building for Men and Skin Rejuvenation. Detailed information are found on their website, http://www.thezeninstitute.com.
I was glad that these two services are offered here and available on the day of my visit.
I was assisted by one of the staff to the second level where my comfy private room is waiting. I was told that the total time of the process that I requested will take roughly an hour to an hour and half. I said fine, and the staff immediately went in preparing the things she needed for me.
I was also advised to make sure to use the right sun protection if ever I'll be going back to the beach and, of course, keep hydrating myself with water.
The total cost of my treatments is fair enough. They sell some products in their clinic too that are good also for maintenance.

Zen Institute has a really homey-feel clinic here in Quezon City. It's a two-floor medical spa packed with amenities and and machines that are ready to give the most fulfilling and satisfying service.
I was assisted by one of the staff to the second level where my comfy private room is waiting. I was told that the total time of the process that I requested will take roughly an hour to an hour and half. I said fine, and the staff immediately went in preparing the things she needed for me.
She started with the preparation of my face for the Radio Frequency for Facial Rejuvenation. It was an easy-peasy treatment, where basically heart your outer skin, specifically the cheeky parts to tighten the muscle and bur excess fat. It's kinda hot at first application, but after a few second you will feel at ease with it. This treatment lasted for 30 minutes. And though the effect isn't as visible at it may seem since one must undergo at least 6 treatments before the noticeable effect, I must say that this one quite pampering.
After a few minutes, the Diamond Peeling followed, and expected, everything went smoothly and nice. I was so happy to know too that my face isn't that dirty, but I need to have this ind of facial treatment occasionally to avoid pimples and keep my skin young.
I was also advised to make sure to use the right sun protection if ever I'll be going back to the beach and, of course, keep hydrating myself with water.
