Meeting the Zumba Expert C-Lium Fibre

We've been hearing a lot about our favorite international bands visiting the Philippines to perform in front of their fans in a huge public place, which most likely to end up unforgettable. With the tremendous news about them, some of you may not know that one of the Zumba guru named Loretta Bates has recently visited the country too to share her knowledge and advocacy of healthy living.

Brought by C-Lium Fibre, a 100% natural psyllium plant which is a good source of soluble and insoluble fibers, together with Live Love Party International, Loretta Bates visited Bacolod and Manila last October 4 and 5 to perform along with other Zumba aficionados of the country.

I had a chance of seeing her and talking to her in person where I learned how her passion for dancing has turned into something great like being a health guru.

"I usually do Zumba 3 to 4 times a week. I keeps me at pace and enjoy dancing even more," she quips in front of the Philippine media who welcomed here here in Manila.

Zumba, which is performed primarily to the groove of lively music, is an aerobic fitness program inspired by various Latin American dance styles. It became a popular exercise amongst individuals, especially women, who found their usual gym routine monotonous and boring.

"Zumba has brought me so many great things, including being on the cover of an XBox game," she added.

Loretta Bates is a Zumba education specialist, instructor, and ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) member since 2007. She is also an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer and AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) Certified Group Fitness Instructor, making her the right person to educate people on how to live a healthy and active lifestyle through Zumba.

After her meet and greet with the Philippine media, Bates led a Zumba party at Ronac Art Center in San Juan, Metro Manila, where hundreds of Zumba fans are excitingly waiting for her. Some of the Philippine celebrities that I saw there are the husband and wife Zumba lovers Regine Tolentino and Lander Vera Perez, and Dr. Vicki Belo's daughter Cristelle Belo Henares.
