Challenge Philippines goes to CamSur with Yellow Cab!

From its successful triathlon last February in Subic Bay and Bataan, the renowned Challenge Family, owner of the global triathlon series of long and half distance races, recently announced that a new race is set challenge triathletes all over the globe next year at Camarines Sur or CamSur, Philippines!


From last February's 729 athletes who came from 38 countries, 2015 is going to be a Challenge CamSur, which is aiming to double or triple the number of participants, as well as the revenue that will help the province in so many ways.


According to the youngest governor of the Philippines, CamSur Governor Miguel Villafuerte, their province is ready to welcome the Challenge Family Global Series and excited to be the banner event of Challenge Philippines


During the presscon in Quezon City last week, Villafuerte said that Challenge Camsur will be a great contribution to the growth of triathlon in the Philippines. With the province's unique draw to inspire athletes and to host such international sporting event, they are pretty sure that they can hold bigger events after this.


Leverage Sports Asia CEO and Challenge Philippines Race Chairman David Voth shared that the 2014 Challenge Philippines race course in Bataan was proclaimed by many around the world as being the 'World's Toughest Course', and so next year, the whole team is challenged to design and deliver one of the fastest courses in Asia.
