Japan's Me-me and their 2-day Benefit Concert for Yolanda Survivors

First time here in the Philippines, and these beautiful girls from Japan, collectively known as Me-Me, hold their first concert outside Japan and for the benefit of the survivors of Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda, local name) in Tacloban City, Ormoc, Philippines.

Maika, Kanae, Hatano, Kamisaki and Fijikita led Japan’s newest AV Girl Group set to excite and sizzle girl group lovers in the world. S88.com, one of the world’s leading online gaming groups, was the team behind the 2-day benefit concert of Me-Me in Eclipse Bar, Solaire Resorts.

Held last May 18 and 19, Me-Me, despite of being a new group, performed a good number of performances that made its posh audience sway and clap along.

The group actually reminded of Sailor Moon, that famous Japanese animation that features beautiful girls dressed in school uniforms.

“In the future, we hope we can perform and have concerts all over the world. We will try our best and have more song to attract more fans. Perhaps it will take more years to reach this goal but we know, one day, we believe we will do it to be perfect AV girl group.” – Maika

Tacloban City Councilor Cristina Gonzalez-Romualdez was on the first night of Me-Me’s concert, and joined the girls on the mini press conference prepared for them. Councilor Gonzalez-Romualdez founded the Cristina’s Learn and Earn Program (CLEP), which received the generous Php240,000.00 donation of Me-Me.

CLEP is a comprehensive livelihood program that empowers and helps residents of Tacloban City who lost their jobs and looking for source of income in the aftermath of the Super Typhoon Yolanda.

S88.com initially donated 250 Starter Kits and Cash Assistance to the April 2014 graduates of CLEP. These graduates are those who took the courses of Food Processing, Hair Cutting, Reflexology and Cosmetology.

The girls promised to come back with more upbeat songs that Filipino fan can enjoy as well. They also hope to help more families who are still fighting for their life after the devastating typhoon hit the Philippines.

In behalf of the Filipino people, thank you S88.com and Me-Me for helping us re-build our country!
