5 Things to Love on the New Samsung Galaxy S5

Don't you just love it when one of the mobile giants launched its latest weapon that is set to put our lives at ease and at the same time melt our hearts away with its awesomeness. It's been two years now since I changed my phone, from Samsung Galaxy, I opted the other "Black" brand. But after testing Samsung's latest creation - Samsung Galaxy S5 - I think it's about time to go back!

And with that, here are my 5 reasons why I think it's about time to go back to Samsung and why Samsung Galaxy S5 is a must-have phone today.

1. Style - The Galaxy S5 represents an iconic design with essential and useful features focused on delivering a heightened smartphone experience.

If you are the kind of mobile user who prefers fancy but goes along with your style kind of smart phones, Galaxy S5 displays a sophisticated, perfectly modified design that can go well with your sense and style. I kinda like its back cover because the texture that it offers.

Galaxy S5, due to its modern glam look is also set to inspire and support its users to improve their everyday lives.

2. Fun - Being a fan of great camera shot, this is one thing that I miss from my mobile phone. My current phone cannot give me that quality of picture and video that I need, that's why I am left with no choice but to bring my DSLR always.

With Galaxy S5, since I had a chance to inspect it and try it for quite a time, I experienced, first hand, its superior camera functionality, featuring a 16 megapixel camera (2.1 megapixel, front camera) with an enhanced menu and user interface that allow consumers to effortlessly take, edit and share photos.

Galaxy S5 is also equipped with fast autofocus speed of only 0.3 seconds and an advanced High Dynamic Range (HDR), feature that reproduces natural light and color similar to how the human eye captures images.

For those who love taking pictures of food or human portraits, the new Selective Focus feature allows users to focus on a specific area of an object or a person while simultaneously blurring out the background and vice versa - almost like a compact DSLR! Another that I appreciate about this new smart phone is its panoramic shot that automatically stitches the photos in a precise cut! I super love it!

3. Fit - Health and fitness enthusiast and professionals would definitely find a best friend on this new gadget because with the Galaxy S5's enhanced S Health 3.0,  more tools are ready to help people stay fit and well.

I had a chance to personally try its enhanced S Health, and as comprehensive as having your own personal fitness tracker, S Health gives its users a chance to personally monitor and manage their wellness comprehensively, along with additional tools including a pedometer, diet and exercise records, and a new built-in heart rate monitor. It is like having your hand-carry stethoscope but come with a very nice-looking and handy gadget.

Galaxy S5 users can further customize their experience with an enriched third party app ecosystem and the ability to pair with the next generation Gear products for real-time fitness coaching.

4. Speed - If you want it fast, Galaxy S5 will give you a new technology in connectivity utilizing LTE and Wi-Fi to ensure blazing fast data speeds for unrivaled media consumption and productivity.

The Galaxy S5 is suited with MIMO (multi-input, multi-output) technology, downloading data allows for both LTE and Wi-Fi to work simultaneously to speed up data transfers. It also supports a number of LTE frequencies with LTE Category 4 standard that ensures the connection unbelievably fast. So, no matter where there's a connection expect a fast and reliable connection powered up by your Galaxy S5.

5. Life - The last thing that left us so amaze is the Galaxy S5 is IP67 – certified, which means it's dust and water resistant of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes! Proved it in front of us, and WOW!

Aside from that, Galaxy S5 also offers a Finger Scanner, providing a secure, biometric screen locking feature. This features also gives users the option to hide their private files - documents, pictures, videos and etc. The Ultra Power Saving Mode, on the other side, turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all unnecessary features to provide the consumer with up to 12 days of battery life - talk time is at 21 hrs max, while with the Internet Usage, Galaxy S5 can last up to 10 hours.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is running on Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat), the latest Android version that provides Android, Google, Chrome, Drive, Photos, Gmail, Google, Google+, Google Settings, Hangouts, Maps, Play Books, Play Games, Play Newsstand, Play Music, Play Store, Voice Search and YouTube on Samsung smart phones.

Are you asking me if I'll change my current phone to Samsung Galaxy S5 - HELL, YES!

I'll start saving now, because with its price of Php 34,990 (SRP), I'll be depriving myself with so many things!
