Gionee PH Launches ELIFE E7

Despite of its poor and almost tasteless attack on Apple and Samsung (competition is really tough, eh?), I must say that I am impressed by how their latest flagship works. I'm honestly saying that I'm not that familiar with the brand, but after knowing how good the features of their mobile gadgets - most specially the camera - I'm gonna keep an eye on Gionee.

Last March 30, at SM Mall of Asia, Gionee, a global leader in mobile manufacturing, design and R&D, announced a new flagship Smartphone ELIFE E7 of its ELIFE series and Android based operating system AMIGO 2.0

Through a fashion show, Gionee showcased its ELIFE E7, which is designed specifically to bring the technology of digital cameras to the smartphone with best-in-class lens and a breakthrough image sensor.

Said to be the world’s first smartphone equipped with a professional image sensor for digital camera, ELIFE E7  is also the world’s first 16 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front camera smartphone phone equipped with the QUALCOMM snapdragon S800 chipset.

ELIFE E7 features a 5.5 Inch FHD (JDI) Display with 1920 x 1080 and 400 PPI for spectacular viewing experience. Users are able to see clear previews of their photo and astonishing details of their pieces right on the large screen. This unit is also equipped with the latest 3rd Generation Gorilla Glass, which is 20 times more scratch resistance than regular classes and twice as durable as the second generation of Gorilla Glass.

Whether you are a nature loving photographer or an adventure seeking shooter, Elife E7 is said to can withstand any situation without a single scratch. In addition, Elife E7's touchscreen is responsive to gloves, wet hands, and keys to ensure photographers can take pictures in any weather and any situation.

The Gionee ELIFE E7 is available in black, white, blue, pink, green, yellow, and orange.

On the other hand, keeping ELIFE E7 efficient is AMIGO 2.0. Gionee smartphones are run by Amigo operation system, Gionee's current official web-based set of tools for searching and browsing the Gene Ontology database.

The new Amigo enables users to choose from five convenient ways to take photos which include Voice control, normal, touch, smile and v-gesture. Its new and improved imaging applications enables users to edit photos, alter colors directly on the phone and create professional looking photos in just seconds. In addition, ELIFE E7 sports a revolutionary Photo Album that automatically categorizes photos by time, place, facial characterizes, and events; thus, enabling users to find a specific photo in seconds.

AMIGO 2.0 also introduced the sensor hub technology which is similar to Google's Google NOW. In a traditional smartphone, waking up voice assistant requires bigger CPU power consumption. With Gionee, a sensor hub technology is made to be used anytime, anywhere, hands free, and voice controlled.

Gionee ELIFE E7 is now available in the Philippines.
