Discover-E our Beloved Filipino Food with Electrolux!

True to its commitment in promoting the good in us Filipinos, this year, Electrolux Philippines is inviting everyone to discover and share the greatness of our own flavor and of our our taste - Filipino Food. The love and passion that Filipinos have when it comes to food is no secret, that's why this season, Electrolux is embarking on a journey to re-discover our appreciation of Filipino food, culture, and heritage through its Discover-E Kitchen Campaign.

Electrolux’s Discover-E campaign is the recent campaign of the a global leader in household appliances and appliances for professional use, which is divided into series of activities: the Discover-E Web Series, photo contest, and the Discover-E Food Festival this coming June.

Discover-E Web Series will teach avid home cooks easy ways to do Neo-Filipino dishes which they can prepare and enjoy in their own kitchen. Hosted by Electrolux own set of celebrity chefs, Chef Bruce Lim and Chef Rosebud Benitez, Discover-E web series will share the delicacies of different regions of the Philippines per episode through these instructional 10-minute YouTube videos. Chef Bruce and Chef Rosebud will also be presenting their own recipes and will teach viewers how to turn ordinary and traditional Filipino dishes to 5-star restaurant dishes! For food fanatics like me, get ready because the Discover-E Kitchen Campaign will test our creativity and judgement. With their Instagram contest that is about to give us a chance to own some of the amazing Electrolux kitchen appliances, all we have to do is post and share photos of our favourite Filipino dishes on Instagram or Twitter. And lastly, as for the grand celebration of Filipino food, this June, our most favorite Filipino dishes from all over the country will be showcased in a Discover-E Food Festival scheduled on June 15 to 16 at the NBC Tent. This charity bazaar, where the entrance fee will to proceed to Sagip Kapamilya, will feature different food vendors selling Filipino food, cooking demos by celebrity chefs, little chef apprentice cooking workshops, cooking challenge for culinary students, live entertainment, raffles and games.

According to Andrea Pionilla, Group Product Manager of Electrolux Philippines, aside from giving their consumers the opportunity to discover and do more culinary exploration in their kitchens with the help of Electrolux kitchen appliance, Discover-E Campaign is also designed to promote culinary discovery and enjoyment of Filipino cuisine, which they are pretty sure will be enjoyed by everyone!
