Samsung Brings SMARTlife Holiday Shopping Spree

Days before Christmas three lucky Samsung shoppers got to take home some bountiful grocery carts as Samsung Philippines host its Christmas promo SMARTlife Holiday Shopping Spree!

From November 15, 2012 to January 15, 2013, customers who purchase a Samsung Digital Appliance will get discounts and freebies. Shoppers can also get a chance to win in their raffle for a shopping spree worth Php20,000.00.

And last December 13, three families had a wonderful time grabbing as much as they could in the shopping spree facilitated at Rustan's Supermarket in Shangri-La Mall. I was invited to check out the said happening, and oh, wow, how I really wish that I'm one of those contestants because I'm sure I'll be grabbing anything that my hands can reach!

All of them really grabbed a lot, from the typical Christmas food, to chocolates, wine, and other household products, but one of the groups really impressed us. By their technique and style, oh, they really made us really proud! That's the kind of shopping spree that I want.

Each group were given an ample time to gather all their items, placed it in the cart and deliver it to the Samsung refrigerator waiting in the starting line. All of them mush place all the grocery items that they gathered inside the refrigerator for them to be qualified winnings.

Aside from that sopping spree, shoppers who availed Php2,500.00 worth are also entitled to one raffle entry.  For every product bought, customer can earn maximum of 20 entries. The customer will be given a flyer that contains the mechanics of the promotion and instructions on how to register for the raffle via SMS.  

To join, you should register via SMS with the following data:
 Step 1:
 Send first ENTRY:

The user will get a reply that he has to register in order to validate the entry that was just sent.

Step 2:
 REGISTER
 SAMSUNG REG name/age/gender/address and send to 2366.
 Ex. SAMSUNG REG Rey Sy/28/M/1 Panalo St. Quezon City.

The user will get a reply that the entry has been validated and that registration is complete.

If the user buys another product and joins again after sending the first entry successfully, he/she just needs to key in  SAMSUNG and send to 2366. (Ex. SAMSUNG NCR RS22HZNMS V15357BC700337W)

There will be a total of 60 winners who will win a shopping spree worth P20,000 each from the 8 weekly raffle draws: 20 winners from Metro Manila, 20 winners from Luzon, 10 winners from Visayas, 10 winners from Mindanao. On the first 7 weekly raffle draws, there will be 6 winners per draw. 2 winners from Metro Manila, 2 winners from Luzon, 1 winner from Visayas, 1 winner from Mindanao. And on the 8th and final draw, there will be a total of 18 winners: 6 winners from Metro Manila, 6 winners from Luzon, 3 winners from Visayas, 3 winners from Mindanao.

The dates and number of participants may change subject to availability of winners, except for the first shopping spree date, target number of participants (as specified on the mechanics) should be filled per event date to be able to push through as scheduled.

A customer can only win once for every product that he/she registered. While all non-winners are eligible for every draw until the final draw.

Should a winner be drawn from a city where a shopping  spree event is not scheduled to be held or if a winner is unable to attend a shopping spree event, the winner may send an authorized representative on his/her behalf to take his/her place during the shopping spree.

In the event that, for whatever reason, it is not possible for the winner to either attend the spree OR send qualified representatives, he/she will be sent Gift Checks equivalent to the prize limit. These Gift Checks may be used at any affiliated supermarket.
