Essilor Philippines launches Crizal Forte UV and Eye-Sun Protection Factor

The world leader in ophthalmic optics, Essilor, brings another stunning innovation on eye glasses as they present and officially launch a clear eyeglass lens that offers the most advanced protection against damaging UV light - the Crizal Forte UV.

An exclusive lens that helps the eye in blocking the UV rays that are entering from front and the back sides, Crizal Forte UV is the first of its kind that maintains unmatched clarify of vision without sacrificing the condition of our eyes against the damaging UV rays.

On its launch last week at the NBC Tent in Taguig City, guests as well as other eye doctors were accommodated to a rockin' and rollin' night as Essilor Philippines glamorized the night with stunning features and spectacles that this biggest eye-wear breakthrough could give.

Together with Sales and Marketing Manager of Essilor Philippines, Dr. Kyle Gilas showed to us how Crizal Forte UV is far better than the other eyeglasses that we could find in the market now.

There were demonstration booths in the venue where a real Crizal Forte UV was used to show how effective it is compared to the other lenses. From its dust repelling factor, to scratch, oil and water repelling factorsCrizal Forte UV proved how great and long-lasting it is that can stand the test of time and activity.

Along these demonstration, Dr. Gilas mentioned the other thing that they are launching that night, the Eye-Sun Protection Factor (E-SPF), a rating system inspired by the systems used to rate skincare and sunscreen products efficiency. This evaluation system provides an objective laboratory index for eye wear. certifying the global UV protection of a lens.

And as you can see on the picture above, with lights coming from the front and the back, the one the left is a regular lens, while the other one is a Crizal Forte UV lens. The Crizal Forte UV lens depletes the amount of UV rays entering the eye, while on the other lens, it does nothing to protect our eyes.

In line with this amazing innovation, a celebration was held inside the tent were all the guests get to know more about Crizal Forte UV and Eye-Sun Protection Factor. Hosted by DJ Gino Quillamor and Karen Bordador, we were informed as to how the UV ray condition in the world affects not just our eyes but our whole being.

Pano malalaman kung Crizal lense ung gamit mo? I mean, they advertise, anti smudge, anti glare, anti dust etch... but my lenses feels like just my old lense. I pressed my thumb on my lense and my fingerprint stick in to it. Crizal's website said that hindi nag iismudge ang lenses nila?
