Celebrate McHappy Day and Run with Ronald McDonald
McHappy Day is an annual celebration of McDonald. It aims to reach out to their supporters and fellow countrymen to uplift their living and lifestyle. And this, year, as the whole country celebrate this McFun Day, McDonald came up with McHappy Day Fun Run.
One of the leading food chains in the world, Mc Donald, just joined the bandwagon in promoting running as a healthy leisure that everyone should get into. And with the goal of helping their beneficiaries, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), the charity of choice of McDonald’s and its banner program, Bright Minds Read (BMR), McDonald is aiming to raise P1 million to provide reading toolkits to Grade 1 pupils in different public schools all over the country.
This program, in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), will provide reading toolkits to Grade 1 pupils to help them learn how to read at an early age. And to date, there are over 2,600 public schools nationwide are already under the BMR program.

And with all of these, they are calling all families, friends and running enthusiasts to celebrate with them by running, to have fun and help thousands of kids learn how to read with their McHappy Day Fun Run. This fun-filled activity for individuals and families will take place on November 28 at the Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
For only Php350.00 per individual or at a discounted rate of Php1,250.00 for a group of four, participants can run the race of their choice- 3K (individual and family category), 5K, 10K or the 500 meter dash for kids 7 years old and below.
Families can qualify in the 3K-Family Category as long as they are composed of two adults, regardless of gender, and two kids, 12 years and below.
There will also be fun games, prizes and other exciting surprises for all the participants. So open those pockets, put on those running shoes, lend a helping hand to these cute little kids all over the county and join the McHappy Day Fun Run!
