Easy-To-Make Dessert with Super Delights Brownie Bites
For most of us, summer is the season for toning our body and enjoying the waves and the sun, while for others, its the season to see and experience different festivals and holidays, which offers tons of dishes and local favorites.
Last May 1, our little town in Tondo, Manila celebrated its town fiesta in respect to our patron saint, St. Joseph the Worker. And since its Labor Day, I labored myself in our kitchen and prepared a dish or two for my visiting friends and relatives.
I'm not an expert in cooking, I must admit, but thankfully, I know how to cook some decent dishes that I can proudly share to my family and friends. Among these are Paella and Baked Macaroni.
It took me four hours to finish preparing and cooking both dishes - and it was my first time to really be that serious in the kitchen. And since I got so tired cooking and I got no more time to prepare desserts, my 6-year-old niece, Elaisha, who's into DIY or Do-It-Yourself Youtube videos lately, told me to just create something on my own - the easy way. And since I received a box of Super Delights Brownie Bites from friends, I used it to create something simple yet colorful sweet treats for my guests.
Thank God, Elaisha was there to help me, so she basically do most of this Easy-To-Do Dessert, with a very minimal supervision and help from me.
Here are our ingredients:
- One pack of Super Delights Brownie Bites (consist of 20 pieces of brownies)
- One can of Whipped Cream
- M&Ms (or you could use other colored candies as topping)
The instruction is so easy - easy as one, two and three.
1. Open the and take our the Super Delights Brownie Bites from its packaging and lay it all on on a clean serving plate.
2. Once laid out, shake well the can of whipped cream before splashing some on top of each Brownie Bites.
3. Immediate placed the candies on top of the whipped cream.
I had a great time watching Elaisha do this, because I know how she is dying to to do her own DIY project. And I'm delighted that despite of me being so busy that day, I still got a moment to have fun and bond with her.
For the dessert that we made, kindly take note that it's important to keep it refrigerated because of the whipped cream, that's why it's best to serve immediately once done.
Our family enjoyed this simple dish, mainly because the Brownie Bites are just delicious and
chewy.
