The Crunchy and Delicious Taste of Cebu is now in SM Mall of Asia!
Summer is here! And when summer season hits the country, there's one province that I really miss – the Queen City of the South, CEBU!
I had a wonderful and unforgettable solo summer trip in Cebu a few years back, and the I must admit that the color, people and food of the province still lingers in my mind like it was just tomorrow.
Thankfully, I don’t have to fly that far for now when if crave for a delicious and authentic Cebuano dish, because right here in SM Mall of Asia, one of Cebu’s best lechon is finally in town! Welcome, Rico’s Lechon!
Dubbed as one of the Cebu’s iconic spicy lechon, Rico’s Lechon finally brings to SM Mall of Asia the scrumptious Cebuano favorite along with is amazing list of equally satisfying dishes. Some of the dishes that I got to enjoy and indulge were their version of Lechon Humba, Bulalo, Baked Scallops, Pinakblet, Eggplant Salad with Egg, and Tinola na Tanigue.
Highlight of my visit there were their Sizzling Chicken Steak, Tortang Talong with Lechon, Fried Chicken Coated with Homestyle Sauce, and the Lechon Fingers with Sweet and Sour Sauce.
And since everyone craves for something cool and sweet during this season, Rico’s Lechon also offers new shake flavors that kids could also enjoy, such as Mocha, Cookies and Cream, Fruity Strawberry, Bloody Watermelon, and my personal favorite Sago at Gulaman.
Aside from those, Rico’s Lechon made their afternoon offering more inviting as well with their merienda selection. Some of these dishes that I plan to try soon are Senior Pit Lechon Mami, Lechon Arrozcaldo, Lechsilog (Lechon, Sinangag at Itlog), Diniguan at Puto, and a set of Dinuguan, Puto, at Plain Rice.
Specifically located at Level 1, South Wing of SM Mall of Asia, Rico’s Lechon takes advantage of its beautiful location offering an ample 200-seating capacity space with al fresco dining so diners can enjoy their mealtime with a view and cool sea breeze.
As it continues to expand in Manila, Rico’s Lechon continues to prove as “Da best gyud!” through its growing institution for many residing in Cebu, Metro Manila, and visitors from all over the world.
