#ARtByRemyMartin: A Colorful Night of Cognac, Music and Maserati!

It was a night or re-imagination as one of the largest French cognac producers in the world, Rémy Martin, officially launched in the Philippines its limited edition VSOP in collaboration with American designer Matt W. Moore at the Wellington Center in Bonifacio Global City last October 18.

Carrying the idea “An invitation to rethink the way we see the world”, guests were treated to an array of Rémy Martin cocktails, music from Manila’s hottest DJs and drop-dead gorgeous Maserati cars that carries the art of Matt W. Moore.

The Rémy Martin- Matt W. Moore VSOP Limited Edition is collaborative work that showcases the captivationg world of cognac and Moore’s artistic prowess. Inspired by the Cognac environment, Matt W. Moore’s visual narrative introduces a realm of discovery, blending natural elements like grapes and leaves. And it inserts subtle clues, inviting the audience into an adventure of movement and mystery. Moore even revisits Rémy Martin’s cherished symbolism, like the mythical centaur, prominently outstretched in a graphical scheme of geometric splendor.

Going beyond mere packaging, the American artist has created a new graphical language for the Rémy Martin VSOP universe.  Through an imaginative new adventure of augmented reality, Rémy Martin and Matt W. Moore created at whole new world through an Augmented Reality app, which is currently available on all iOS devices.

Along with the launch, Rémy Martin also recognized local “Art & Style Icons” who have been a great inspiration to the brand's success.

Another highlight of the night was Matt’s favorite VSOP cocktail, which was shared to everyone at the launch. Here’s the recipe:
  • 40ml/1.35oz Rémy Martin VSOP
  • 15ml/0.5oz fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml/0.5oz maple syrup
  • a few slices of fresh ginger

Muddle the ginger in the shaker, shake all ingredients over ice, strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice, and cheers!

Moore’s stylish art (which has come to be known as Vectorfunk) appears in the Matt
Moore Limited Edition VSOP bottles that are exclusively available at all S&R outlets.
