FatBurger opens new store at SM Mall of Asia
Juicy, tender, and jaw dropping - this is how I summarize my first visit at FatBurger. Haven for amazing, unique and customized burgers, ranging from beef, chicken, turkey and even all-veggie, I’m just glad that their newest store is located at SM Mall of Asia.
FatBurger officially opens its second store in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia today, after more than a year of opening its first branch in Glorietta, Makati City. Originally, from Los Angeles, California, Fatburger made its fame to the burger scene when Hollywood celebrities, as early as 1952, recognized and made Fatburger as their go-to place for some good ole customized burger.
Now, Fatburger is conquering the global scene offering the most appetizing and complementing burgers and side dishes that will make anyone comes back again and again.
For my visit, Fatburger at SM Mall of Asia carries the same homey feel of any Fatburger store in the world. Clad with it’s the brand’s distinct frames, colors and modern-industrial interior, Fatburger opens with all of its sought-after menu topped with Filipino service, that local and international guests could enjoy.
My first and definitely not my last bite
I really want to challenge myself into having the Triple Burger, but I know that I will regret it after because I have an upcoming beach trip and I would like a “butete” once I finished all of it. Hahaha! But the crave was there, so instead, I just had their Double Burger with Cheddar Cheese, Fat Fries and Strawberry Milkshake. Price range for their burgers is from Php195 to Php395. The fun part is that you could really mix and match their offered ingredients and you’d still come up with something great.
These add-ons include three types of cheese - Cheddar, American and Bleu - bacon, fried egg, mushrooms, onions, onion rings and chillis. Prices range from Php30 to php50, which I think is good for the price given the service size.
“This FatBurger in SM Mall of Asia is different from the otehr Fatburger stores in the world, mainly because two ideas were combined in here. We have the Fatburger on the bigger side, while Buffalo Wings on the other. So as you'll notice also, the design is unique,” Fatburger Philippines Chief Operating Officer Mr. Jack Halaby said.
And since I work around the area, and burger is one of my comfort food, I will definitely go back here to try some other dishes. For those who want to try their other meals, Fatburger also offers FatBurger Hot Dog, Platters, while Buffalo Wings offers Buffalo Wings, Fried Chicken with Rice, Wraps, Salad and Waffles.
