Christmas Traditions and Festivities at Lancaster New City!

When I was a kid, one of the many traditions that our family has is going to Baclaran Church on December 24 to attend the Christmas Eve mass. After that, we eat in one of the restaurants nearby, while sharing the excitements that we have for the coming Christmas. On the morning of Christmas Day, our Christmas socks are filled with toys that we want for this special day.

Now that we are old, though we still go to church for Christmas Eve mass, I usually spent my Christmas Day on bed catching up on some of my favorite TV series and movies that I missed during busy season, and at night spent a heart-warming gathering with some friends. I love watching beautiful local and international movies during Christmas Season, it's so relaxing, which makes me appreciate the season more. Hehe.

I wasn't really surprised that Lancaster New City, the flagship project of property developer PRO-FRIENDS, decided to offer a unique movie-watching experience to it residents and guests this Yuletide Season. The warmth that it adds to the chilly air of Cavite, plus the fun and exciting activities that goes with it last weekend made the Christmas spirit more alive and joyful.

Dubbed as "Lancaster New City Open Air Cinema," everyone get to enjoy two of this year's blockbuster movies for free courtesy of Cinema One. Featuring two of the country's favorite love teams - #Kathniel or Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, and #JoshLia or Joshua Garcia and Julia Baretto - "Lancaster New City Open Air Cinema" filled its town square with warm smiles and lots of cool stuff to do topped with "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "Love You to the Stars and Back."

But before the airing of the two blockbuster movies, Lancaster New City and Cinema One excite their audience first by sharing some fun games and free concert - where MOR 101.9's DJ Chacha and former PBB Teen housemate Myrtle Sarosa performed.

I must say that The Square is more beautiful in the morning, because you get to see how lovely the whole place is. Aside from that, Christmas feel is all over the place and it so much fun to have photos taken around the area, which is something that I really enjoyed. But of course, the Christmas Light Show at night is another thing to catch every weekend.

And making the whole experience more memorable, festive and appetizing meals are made available at the restaurants at The Square. We dined at Don Cirilo that day, and we get to enjoy their version of Filipino favorite such as Pancit Bihon, Fresh Lumpia, Lomi, and more.

There's no surprise that Lancaster New City is starting to be one of the sough-after residential areas in this side of the country. With such amenities, activities and security that this place provide, putting balance to one life trough its "Live, Learn, Work, Play, and Pray" setting, this place a home to many more Filipino traditions waiting to be discovered and nourished.

Thank you for making the Christmas spirit more alive and meaningful, Lancaster New City! Happy and Blessed Christmas to all!
