Snowbing: Your Korean Sweet Corner at SM North EDSA

There's no doubt that the Korean culture has dominated our country - not only on our television, music, fashion... but also in our food! And recently, SM North EDSA welcomed another Korean-themed  dessert cafe that offers delight to sweets lovers like me - the Snowbing.

Located at the Ground Floor of SM North EDSA in Quezon City, this Korean dessert cafe offers a refreshing take on top favorite Korean dessert without really emptying your pocket. Their minimalist interior could fit a good 20-30 guests in one seating, including the small room, which can be asked to be a private room for groups.

Despite of its simple design, the place is not short on Korean vibe that mostly comes from the LED TV put up on the walls playing K-POP all day. Some salivating images of dessert favorites were also hanged up on the walls to add color and texture to the place.

Cheezy Mango - Php168.00

Choco Banana

Choco Brownie - Php188.00

If you are up for some cold and sweet dessert, enjoy their dozen-flavored bingsu that are perfect for sharing. From fruity, pastry-like to chocolate-y, Snowbing's bingsu offerings didn't fall short on its uniqueness and screaming colors and combinations due to its overflowing ingredients. My top favorite is their Choco Brownie, which is basically a combination of chocolate ice shavings topped with chocolate chips, brownies, buts, chocolate ice cream, then drizzled with chocolate syrup. I bet you will never lonely after eating this one.

For some light-flavored bingsu, I suggest that you try their Cheezy Mango, which is a great serving of mango-flavored ice shaving, with real mango chunks and cheese cubes topped with vanilla ice cream and powdered Graham crackers. Choco banana is not that bad too, only it resembles to Banana-Peanut Butter that you normally have in other American or Korean restaurants.

Aside from bingsu, Snowbing also takes pride on their delectable and fillings pasta and pizza that I find equally good and affordable.

Salted Egg Pasta - Php198.00

Kimchi Pasta - Php198.00

For their pasta, though they only have three choices, and I only got to try two of it, my favorite among the two is their Salted Egg Pasta. The thick, creamy and flavorful sauce gave a 100% satisfying appeal this whole dish. I guess, any salted egg dish nowadays is good, so I suggest that if you are craving for more salted-egg base dishes, you must try this one. I just wish that they add more bacon onto it. Hehe.

Kimchi Pizza - Php99.00 per slice

Pizza lovers can also rejoice here at Snowbing as this place offers thin crust pizza that are just unbelievably tasty - especially if its served hot! And what better way to enjoy these delightful meals than indulge with friends!

Snowbing has just opened its second store in Trinoma Mall, Quezon City. For more details, you can follow Snowbing Philippines on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/pg/SnowbingPH.
