Fashionable Circus at Giordano's 25th Anniversary Party

Circus is one place that never fails to amaze me. - amazing stunts, wonderful talents and oh-so-lovely costumes! No wonder, on its 25th anniversary, one of the countries stable and well-loved brand, Giordano, has chosen this theme to celebrate with their patrons.

Held last November 22 at the Eastwood Mall Open Park, Giordano let their guests played classic circus games such as Basket Toss, Something Fishy, Tumble Me and Ring O’ Bottle to co-celebrate  the brand's milestone - its 25th year in the Philippines. Guests got to enjoy exclusive prizes from Giordano on those games, as well as other activities on-the-ground including fortune-telling and mechanical bull riding, which are reminiscent of the circuses of old.

Meanwhile, clowns, mimes, stilt walkers, magicians, lion man, uni-cyclists, and many more, were scattered all over the mall to add excitement and fun to the most awaited event of the night - the fashion show.

Giordano showcased its 2014 Fall/Winter collection with op models Ria Bolivar, Jasmine Maierhofer and Justine Gabionza. Award-winning fashion show director Ogee Atos took the shows reins while stylist Charmaine Palermo and makeup artist Lourd Ramos made up and styled the models.

The night also ushered the return of Giordano Classic, which are perfect-for-the-chilly-weather pieces, along with Breton tops, long-sleeved tees, denim, khakis and polos.

Those outfit for boys and girls are as cute as those fore adults! Nice!

After the fashion show, Giordano Philippines’ CEO and President Mr. Larry Lim made an appearance on stage where he delivered a short message, which is basically thanking everyone for their undying support to the brand, and to their fashion statement that never get out of style.

Mr. Larry Lim

“We thank everyone who celebrated this milestone with us. Giordano has evolved so much over the past two decades, and Filipinos have been a huge part of the brand’s success. When Giordano first opened here in the country, we never thought that we would sign on celebrities, much more a song composed by Rico Blanco,” said Mr. Lim.

And without further ado, the much-awaited performances of Brownman Revival and Franco happened. And to cap off the night, Rico Blanco pleases the crowd with the performance of Giordano's theme song, ‘World Without Strangers’.

The climax of the event was a concert which featured Filipino music icons, including Rico Blanco, Franco and Brownman Revival. Blanco capped off the night with a performance of the crowd pleaser Giordano theme song, ‘World Without Strangers’.

It was one historic moment for the Philippine fashion industry to witness a brand flourish and made it to the households of every Filipino.

From me to you, congratulations and happy 25th year, Giordano! May you have 25 or more years to come! Cheers!
