A Visit at Lancaster New City

"We don't build house, we create communities."
Augusto G. Leonardo, Jr.
Pro-Friends COO/EVP/Business Unit 4 Head

In a very extra ordinary day, I was invited by my friends from Property Company of Friends, Inc. or simply Pro-Friends to check out their blossoming property in the south that covers Kawit, Gen. Trias, and Imus, Cavite. A project that is slowly gaining attention from Filipino families who seek a one-of-a-kind township community near the metro, Lancaster New City promises to offer more than a work-life balance life but rather a live, learn, work, play and worship life.

Started its construction in 2007, Lancaster New City has quickly evolved into a master-planned community that spans in three major parts of Cavite Province. Situated near the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), this new city is now ready to give Filipino families the option to own reasonably priced homes in a community that provides the most essential things in life.

On the welcome luncheon that Pro-Friends has prepared to us, Pro-Friends COO/EVP/Business Unit 4 Head, Mr. Augusto G. Leonardo, Jr., shared to us how their small idea has evolve into this blossoming city that spans to more than 1,400 hectares.

"We wanted to give what Filipino families want in their dream home, so we asked our people what it is in a house that would make them say that this is their dream home. And from there, our team developed ideas that fit to this dreams and made them all a reality here in Lancaster New City," he shares.

Living the Dream

Lancaster New City currently offer two-storey and three-storey townhomes and two-storey single attached homes designed for young professionals, start-up families and bigger growing families. Each home is efficiently laid out to have sufficient space for the dwellers to comfortably move around inside the house.

Last September, Lancaster New City introduced six new modern Asian inspired homes that celebrated the use of light and space. Its high ceilings and windows are created to allow more light and ventilation inside the rooms. Putting into consideration the importance of the Internet to any growing family, four of the new house models (Briana, Chessa, Mabelle, and Adelle) have ready outlets for home internet cables.

Residents of selected house models have their very own Family Courtyard or Family Enclaves, extra spaces either at the back or in front of each single attached home where children may safely play or they may have their special private gatherings.

Lancaster New City isn't just providing houses, inside this city is a school established in 2012, the St. Edward Integrated School (SEIS). Aiming to make high quality, affordable education accessible to its residents, Lancaster New City gives families the option to send their children to a school that prides in raising globally competitive students with a strong sense of character.

SEIS has a dynamic project-oriented curriculum which aims to address the needs of different types of learners. It has life laboratories, clubs and organizations that allow students to develop their talents and be equipped with real life practical skills.

Pro-Friends' AVP for Marketing, Mr. Dave Amor, reiterated that SEIS is generally a mere 400 meter walk from the nearest residential area, same with the the city's pioneer IT Park, SuntechiPark.

SuntechiPark is designed to give the residents an option to work close to home, thus giving them more time to spend with the family. Lancaster New City is also developing its transport system that would easily bring the residents from their place of work to their homes in less time.

Keep Playing, But Don't Forget Praying

Having faith at the center of this whole project, Lancaster New City built in 2012 the Church of the Holy Family. A place of worship and celebration, the Church of the Holy Family is the place where families can attend Sunday mass, hold their wedding vows and ceremonies, or celebrate the Simbang Gabi tradition.

And lastly, since a life with no play would be really boring, Lancaster New City acknowledges the need for families to constantly bond with each other through The Square. A 25-hectare commercial-business-lifestyle district that will provide retail and leisure activities to both office workers and its residents, The Square, which opened last year, will be a sprawling commercial center that houses several commercial and retail establishments.

Those who love gardens, there's the Central Greens that will serve as an extra relaxation spot for those who love spending time outdoors. Central Greens will be a place tree-shaded pathways, pocket gardens, and children’s playground.

The Lancaster New City constantly aims to provide the Filipino family with a complete community without hurting their pocket and by giving a great value to their hard-earned money. I learned that when you visit their Knowledge Center, you'll get to meet their sales team that can help you evaluate you financial status and can actually help you which of their properties suit to your income.
