The Dora's Best Friends Picnic at SM Megamall

There's must be really something about Dora the Explorer why little girls love her so much. And at the recently concluded Nickelodeon's Dora's Best Friends Picnic, which happened at the Event Center of SM Megamall, about a hundred of little girls and boys, plus their parents, went crazy upon seeing Dora and her best friends.

Little Nicksters aged 2-7, like my nieces Elaisha and Nickaella, had a great time learning and playing with their fellow Dora the Explorer fans at this one-day event at SM Megamall. An afternoon filled with games and freebies, Dora's Best Friends Picnic shared one exciting and thrilling afternoon not only to the kids who came, but also to their parents and guardians who accompanied them.

They say parenting is one tough job - bet, I couldn't agree more. Having one kid is already a challenge, but two - oh, it's like a suicide. Hahaha! I thought my little nieces would be very shy going around, but the moment we stepped in, oh, I immediately went gaga looking out for them.

Nickaella went out missing trying all the stuff inside the venue, which include face painting, loom band making, some little games and smart art balloons. While Elaisha, who asked to be carried all the time told me that she wanted to be up on the stage. Hahaha!

This is her up on the stage.

Since the second half of the show started a bit late, I was able to grant Elaisha's wish. So yeah, she dance there like we were at home. Hahaha! I dunno make came into her mind, but I guess, we are really having a performer in the family. Hehehe.

At the end of the show, Dora the Explorer, with her best friends, Diego and Boots showed up for some photo op with their fans. Everyone went wild, which made me decide to leave the place earlier than the rest of the fans. We weren't able to have a picture with Dora, but I'm pretty sure that we will have our own time to do it.

For now, I'm just glad that I made my nieces' Sunday afternoon exciting and fun - something that  they would love to experience again, I'm sure.

Thanks, Nickelodeon!
