Ayala Malls Made Shopping Worth Spending

In partnership with Look Magazine and Inquirer Lifestyle, Ayala Malls made shopaholics moment meaningful through Joy of Giving - a silent auction that not only encourage shoppers to spend their hard-earned money wisely but also inspire everyone by sharing the real meaning of this forthcoming Yuletide cheers.

With all proceeds going to Bulig Bisaya, an Ayala Land Corporation project, which will aid the families affected by the recent calamities in the Visayas, Joy of Giving invited everyone to join in this unique shopping experience wherein they might get to take home some of this season's fanciest pieces from their favorite local and international brands.

And last Friday, at Trinoma, I witnessed how shopaholics and fashionistas drool over these beautifully displayed clothes, apparels and accessories that speak nothing but glitz and glam. Though we know that this is not the perfect time to display one's extravagance, I personally think that if you do it this way, where you were still able to help our fellows in the Central Philippines, it's okay. Some things are very hard to control - like shopping! ^_^

The participating merchants that time were Bauhaus, Benefit, Celine, Chronos, Dumond, Fred Perry, Geox, Hotflopz, Hush Puppies, Geleia, Jewelmer, Original Penguin, Power Mac Center, Rabeanco, Sebago, Swatch, Thomas Sabo, Watch Republic, XOXO and 101 New York.

Most of the items bidding price started at 30%-70% less from the original price, so it was really tempting to bid.

The Joy of Giving silent was open to all shoppers. Each interested shopper received a paper where they will place their bid and only the Marshall will get to see the amount they placed there. The winning bidder will be notified on or before January 6, 2014.

This Joy of Giving Silent Auction was also experienced in other Ayala Malls like Greenbelt, Glorietta and Alabang Town Center.

Just like what the recent brand commercial says "Every act matters, Share whatever you have, Do whatever you can," this season, in this state of our nation, it is best to do whatever you can to do to help.

Thank you, Ayala Malls, for taking extra step to help our fellows in the Visayas!
Thank and good luck to all bidders!
