New World Cosplay Show at Eton City

It was one FUN-tastic afternoon as Eton City, a relaxing and lovely yet urbanized area in Sta. Rosa, Laguna welcomes and hosts the annual New World Cosplay Show!

Cosplayers from all over the country gathered last February 17 at the flagship development of Eton City - the South Lake Village - to celebrate and fill the day with lots of wonderful characters and colors as the showcase their own adaptations of everyone's well-love anime characters.

I was there to witness this extravagant celebration, as well to enjoy that romantic scenery that Eton City has to offer to its guests and home owners. This was also their way of welcoming the prosperous Year of the Water Snake, which is said to be bring good luck to those who knows how to have fun.

From the famous anime characters to Hollywood's very own heroes, this Eton City's New World Cosplay Show has a week-long series of activities that goes with their theme Heroes and Villains. And to start off this fun-filled celebration, a giant anime display was mounted for photo-ops, fir for those who love capturing photos of unique pieces, like me, as well as to those who just love being in front of the camera.

Family-oriented activities such as robot-making contest was also held, which tested the bonding and creativity of each of the families who joined. I was able to see some of the finish products that day, and I was really astounded as to how these families turned out to be sooo creative and managed to brought up some thing like this awesome!

Aside from those, there were also interactive displays, game booths, tournaments and grand bazaar that added more enjoyment and entertainment to the festivity. And during the nights, acoustic performances by some local acts serenaded the attendees to bring harmony and more comfort feel to everyone.

I was able to look around the properties of this budding city in the south, and I must say that with the South Lake Village, RiverBend, West Wing Residences and Tierrabela all connected by one man-made lake that look so astonishing and really romantic in the afternoon, I can't wait to back here and just enjoy the nature to its fullest!

Thank you, Eton City, for making one of my February Sundays so memorable! I hope this is not the last time I'll visit your place! Hihihi.

Today is October 30, 2014. It just happen that I remembered our cosplay event in Eton City, so I tried typing it in Google images. And I landed here. Never thought I was in a sensible and smart blog like this. It felt good.

My gratitude to the author of this Blog. I was the one wearing red costume with horns and scythes. ^_^ I was overwhelmed. God bless.
