Style Origins - Mensweek - Ivarluski Aseron

Giving the sporty silk a more masculine and unique look, Ivarluski Aseron's collection in the recently concluded Ayala Malls' Style Origins at Bonifacio High Street was highlighted by bits and pieces of formal shirts and pants with matching bleached-fabrics that gave a formal attack.

Last Saturday, together with Jojie Lloren and Michael Cinco, Aseron filled the third spot in the Mensweek show of Style Origins for the Fall-Winter Season.

In Aseron's collection, he showcased a series of tops and bottoms that used the sporty silk. Though, I find the fabrics a little "showy" the elegant styling and cuts made every piece a beauty on the runway.

The drama on his collection unfolded when these bleached-like pieces goes with the the sporty silk. Though some may find it unappealing, the inverted suits of his collection showed how braved he is when it comes to creating a style and at the same time showing how well-tailored his pieces are.

If there's one thing that I find really odd about his collection, its the idea of once those sporty silk got splashed with water or even just sweat, it'll stick to your body. :-)

Congratulations, Ivarluski Aseron! Thank you, Ayala Malls!
