All Go for The Tour of Hope 2011

Okay, ladies in the house, hear me out.

This coming May 28th, the challenging yet so fun adventure will unfold as Tour of Hope will travel the country again to help women fight cervical cancer.


In partnership with Team David’s Salon and GlaxoSmithKlineBraveheartsa non-profit organization initially led by the Cervical Cancer Prevention Network (CECAP) for the Cancer Institute Foundation (CIF),  a tour around the country is be back one again to help 500 women vaccinated against cervical cancer.


And this year, on this 500-kilometer-5-day tour, the team will be taking the north visiting the provinces of Tarlac City, Tarlac, San Fernando, Launion, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur,  and Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.



The first stop is at Tarlac City, Tarlac - the home of President Noynoy Aquino’s ancestral house and Mount Pinatubo - one of the hottest tourist spot today. The tour will continue to San Fernando, La Union, where the renowned La Union Botanical Gardens is nestled. After that, the bikers will head to Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, where historical churches and ancestral homes that reflect the beauty of old world architecture can be found. The fourth stop will be the home of Juan Luna Shrine - Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.  And the final stop of Tour of Hope 2011 is Paoay, where participants will get to see the amazing architecture of the province represented by Paoay Church, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


At the end of the tour, celebrity bikers such as Commissioner Gregorio Larrazabal, Marvin Kiefer, Rovilson Fernandez, Troy Montero, Aubrey Miles, Will Devaughn, Richie Hardin, Richard Herrera, Janna Victoria, Gem Padilla, Anthony Pangilinan, and David Charlton will be there to support this great cause. They will be lending their star power to draw attention to this event and let everyone know the importance of getting an anti-cervical cancer vaccine.


A Mini Tour of Hope will also be held on May 7 at Filinvest, Alabang for the biking enthusiasts to show their support for the anti-cervical cancer advocacy. Everyone is invited to see and join this event there.
