All-New 2nd Avenue for Urbanites!

I’m a late-night TV haggler. Since my day job requires me to work most of the day, I only have the night to haggle the telly. And I usually spend my late night relaxing and watching wonderful TV shows - usually tuned in to one the hottest channel in town, 2nd Avenue.

Ellen is the one show that put smile on my face every weeknight. I mean, how can you resist watching that show? The guests, the giveaways, the games and the dance moves, it’s just so nice to watch it at night before hitting the sack.

Last Friday, I got to attend the launching of 2nd Avenue’s new primetime schedule, dubbed as Evening Escape, which was held at the Ayala Triangle Park, Makati City.

Race to Hawaii this Havaianas Season!

Oh, yeah, it’s that time of the year again where wearing your most favorite flip-flops is nothing but a summer must-Havs! And this time, with our most love flip-flops, Havaianas, a heart-thumping and nerve racking chase to an unforgettable summer escapade at the beautiful island of Hawaii awaits us!

Imagine, you in a place where Alex O’Loughlin, Hawaii Five-0 2011 star, used to shoot this awesome TV series. Oh, yeah, Alex O’Loughlin!!! Who knows, you might see the whole cast there, right?

FYI: Did you know that even though Havaianas is originally from Brazil, these colourful and comfortable flip-flops are all inspired by the beautiful island of Hawaii?

Well, that is if you and your partner win in this year’s Havaianas treat, the Always Summer: Race to Hawaii.

Mythbusters takes on The Green Hornet Movie

Time flies so fast, the first month of the year 2011 is about to end, but before we bid goodbye to January 2011, do not forget to catch the first coolest movie of this year, The Green Hornet.

Starring Seth Rogen and Taiwanese RnB sensation Jay Chou, The Green Hornet is a George W. Trendle original radio series.

I got a chance to see it in advance before its showing date at Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City with my fellow blogger-friends courtesy of Discovery Channel and Krispy Kreme, and I must that that this movie is one ass-kickingly awesome!

Who is she?

Last night, around one in the morning, as I was about to post my blog about the The CompanY 25th Year Anniversary Concert, I checked my Facebook page.

This is one of the usual stuff that I do every time I'm about to post my blogs, because I'll be uploading pictures with regards to that post on my Facebook page.

But last night, something unimaginable happened. I was shocked to see that there's a picture which was recently (6 minutes ago) uploaded by me in my Mobile Uploads folder. I was shocked because, first, I don't upload pictures on Facebook using my mobile phone. And second, and this one kinda scares me, the picture that I saw, which was said to be uploaded via mobile phone is this:

The original picture can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150091665768201&set=a.10150091665763201.258897.695318200&ref=nf

The CompanY - Isang Pasasalamat Concert

Just recently, an issue amongst Netizens erupted as to why they do and do not patronize OPM concerts, there are a lot of good reasons that I read, I tell you. But still there’s this heart-breaking answer that caught my attention, and I find it is SO TRUE if I may say, “We can already see those performances on TV, maybe not every day but usually every week.”

I mean who can blame them, right? That’s their money and they have the right to choose on which stuff they wanna spend that with.

But in some cases, not all local acts can be seen on TV every day or every week. There’s The CompanY, who we barely see lately and admit it or not, they are our country’s pride. WONDERFUL ARTISTS in short!

1 @ 11 - An Aficionado's Thank You Concert

Held last January 11 at SM Mall of Asia Concert Ground, with more than 70,000 people from the different parts of the country, the first concert for the year 2011 dubbed at 1 @ 11, an Aficionado - Joel Cruz's thank you concert, is no doubt something to beat this year.

Though the spot that I got was "kinda" really, really, really far, I, together with ht youngest sister, Andrea, and her boyfie Ryan, had a wonderful time watching and listening to the great music brought to us by our country's pride.

Catch Yellowcard this Love Month!

If you are that type of person or couple who are into rock music, or just someone who's an avid fan of Yellowcard, here's your chance to catch them because they'll be here in Manila this February 20, 2011.

Catch Ryan Key (vocals and guitar), Sean Mackin (violin), Ryan Mendez, (guitar) Sean O' Donell (bass) and Longineau Parsons (drums) as they rock A Venue Hall, Makati City this Love Month.

After years of hiatus, the band that brought us "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", "Lights and Sounds", and "Light Up the Sky" has come back to share to their growing fans the talent and the music that they ought to share.

This concert, which is the band's ONLY Southeast destination in their 2011 world tour, is a must-see for "rakistas" and music lovers alike.

The Blogger’s Gifts

More than having a complete family, awesome officemates and great friends over the holidays, there are still some things that I should be thankful for. And that are the gifts that I received from them – gifts that are really a big help to blogger like me.

From our company’s Christmas party I received this very nice laptop desk from CD-R King, which can help me a lot. Since I’m a late-night blogger (I usually update my blogs at night while at bed), this can help me wok on bed and share my wonderful stories to my readers.

Thanks to Ate Cristy for this! She’s our Finance Manager, she’s the one who got my name on our Monito-Monita. Ate Cristy, I super love it!

These next gifts are the gifts that I received from my officemates in from the department where I belong.

The Blogging Year that was....

I started blogging on Blogspot.com last September 2009. And from then on, the number of blogs I posted grew and the number of people I met and became friends with grew too.

I can say that it's been very fruitful blogging year for me. I've attended a lot of great events, cool parties, met a lot of nice people - including celebrities - and I've been to a lot of different places. And with that, one of the highlights of all of these things is the Baguio Trip that I had with my blogger-friends.

This was my first time to go out of town for 2 days with my blogger-friends, and I really, really enjoyed everything we had there.
