Manila’s Spotlight to South Korea’s Jay Park

Also know as Park Jaebeom, Jay Park, the former leader of South Korea’s boy band 2PM is set to melt Filipino’s heart on his first ever concert in the country at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia.

In his press conference, Jay Park wholeheartedly answered all the questions asked to him by the Filipino press and some Korean press. He even shared some personal stuff about him that his Filipino fans would love to know.

Run Against Time invades Greenhills

Yesterday was a health-conscious day for me as I signed up and joined the Immuvit’s Run Against Time Fun Run at Greenhills Shopping Center at Greenhills, San Juan.

Joined by more than a hundred participants from different walks of life with different ages, the fun run started at around 6 and ended by 8 in the morning. With 3K and 5K run, participants get to enjoy the cool breeze of the upcoming Christmas holiday air and get to beat the bad signs of aging.

The SupaFest 2010 Concert

A Saturday night with Sean Kingston, T-Pain, Kelly Rowland and Florida - HELL, they rocked Manila! Woohoo!

As the night sky cleared up at the Concert Ground of SM Mall of Asia, fans of the said four artists gathered and readied themselves to get wild and funky with the cool and awesome music of these four.

I, myself, together with my friend Princess, readied our cameras and our strong legs to jump up and down while holding our camera high up the sky while swaying to the beat just to catch the happenings at the stage, which is like 100 steps away from us. Hahaha! What we had was a silver ticket, but nonetheless, we really enjoyed watching this concert. Superb talent, indeed!

All Set for SupaFest 2010

Tonight at SM Mall of Asia Concert Ground, some of the best foreign artists will join force to give a one great concert that we Filipinos will never forget. With Sean Kingston, T-Pain, Flo Rida and Kelly Rowland to rock our world, Manila get ready for SupaFest 2010!

Yyesterday, I was lucky to attend their press conference at Dusit Hotel and got to meet T-Pain in person. He's the only artist available that time as for the three other performers will be coming in today and will go directly to the concert. But nonetheless, we enjoyed chatting with T-Pain who's all game answering our questions.

I got to attend the press launch of Ice Watch at C3 Events Center in Greenhills, and though I wasn’t expecting much like getting one of those beautiful watches, I still got to enjoy the event as whole.

 

 

The Perfume-y Downy

I love doing our grocery and I do it every month. I’m not saying I’m an expert when it comes to choosing which is which  when picking something up in the grocery, but I think I’m very sure I can trust my senses. From the first look of it, the moment I touched it and the time that I put it my grocery cart, I know that I’m choosing the right one. And that’s how I stumbled upon the new Downy - Attraction and Passion.

A day before I got an invite to attend the Downy: A Scent to Remember event at Peninsula Manila in Makati City, I just did our grocery. And since there’s this noise going in blogosphere about certain Attraction and Passion scents, I took the effort of smelling the two bottles colored as red and violet.  Red is for Passion while violet is for Attraction. I’d say I had a hard time choosing which one smells better but one thing I’m sure of, both smells good and smells like woman.

I’ve been using a Samsung Corby for almost seven months now. I got my Samsung Corby from an event and I’m very glad that I got a chance to use a Samsung phone. To be honest, at first I’m in doubt that I’ll get use to it  since it’s a touch screen and comparing some of its features from the one that I have for years. But when I tried it, it comes as handy as the one that I have. So now, I love my Samsung phone!

And last week, Samsung introduced again a new phone that will lead us to a more upgraded touch phone without emptying our pockets – the Samsung Champ.

The 2010 Special Olympics – National Bowling Championship

One thing that I envy about special kids is their innocent, kid-like mind sets. Whenever I see a special kid, I can help but envy how happy they really are not thinking much about their future – just simply enjoying whatever they have today.

And last week, that’s what I witnessed again when I attended the National Bowling Championship for Special kids at the Coronado Lanes at Star Mall in Mandaluyong City.

Battling for this 2010 championship were almost a hundred players showcasing their exceptional talent in striking all those pins on this bowling tournament.
 

Ocean Minded sets to conquer Philippine shore

I’m a shoe-slipper person. I love having a lot of shoes and I love having a lot of slippers. Though I spend a lot of time at work wearing shoes, if I got a chance, I’m sneaking in my slipper just feel comfortable while working.

There are only two factors that I’m looking for in a shoe or slipper. First, the aesthetic value - it is very important that the looks of my shoe or slipper can adapt to the different style that I do with my self. May it be going to work or clubbing or just hanging out with my friends, I always make sure that I can “somehow” use that shoe or slipper in two or more events that I have to go to. And second, the durability. Since, I’m one of those people that are always on the go, it is very important for me to have a long-lasting shoe or slipper.  I love having shoes and slippers as much as I love keeping and having them for the longest time possible.

There are times that I really don’t care about the price, as long as that shoe or slipper has the two factors that I’m looking for, I’ll go and have it! That’s how I love shoes and slippers!

And now, with the coming of Ocean Minded in the country, a brand that utilizes recycled and sustainable materials in its products, whenever possible, I have a new target on the loose. Hehehe.

Run Against Time with Immuvit

I know a lot of us, though some may still be having a hard time accepting it, are starting to feel the signs of aging. Back pain, aching joints, hair loss and many more. There are also times that we tend to forget to do some things that leads to complications and some other problems.

I’m 27 years old, and too shy to admit, I am feeling these signs. I guess the fountain of youth in me just suffered El Niño and forgot to keep water for itself. Thankfully, there are a lot of ways that can help me feel young and look young, and one of those is exercise.

I got to attend the Immuvit Run Against Time activity at the Bonifacio High Street weeks ago, and I’d say that so far, this was the most eye-opening fun run that I’ve been to. Before the scheduled fun run for the said activity, Immuvit prepared some lectures for us to know how to balance proper diet, healthy lifestyle and exercise.

Mead Johnson Celebrates Nutrition on their 42nd Year
