Run Against Time invades Greenhills

Yesterday was a health-conscious day for me as I signed up and joined the Immuvit’s Run Against Time Fun Run at Greenhills Shopping Center at Greenhills, San Juan.

Joined by more than a hundred participants from different walks of life with different ages, the fun run started at around 6 and ended by 8 in the morning. With 3K and 5K run, participants get to enjoy the cool breeze of the upcoming Christmas holiday air and get to beat the bad signs of aging.

This was my second fun run for the year 2010. I was also there at their first Immuvit Run Against Time Fun Run at Bonifacio High Street, and I must that I’m actually enjoying their activity. As you all know, I’m a food blogger and eating all those wonderful food is making weigh heavier, and the only way that I can think of to at least balance the eat-and-eat routine is by joining such fun run.

I joined the 3K run, and luckily I got to finish it in good time.

Immuvit’s leading endorser Coach Jim Saret was also there to support us and give inspirational talk to keep us all healthy and fit.

He, again, talked about the help of Immuvit and how it can help beat somatopause.

Recap: Somatopause is the weight gain and metabolism slowdown stage that typically happens when you hit the age of 30. And it’s going to happen whether we like it or not.

He also shared to us META-FIT, a workout that takes less than 5 minutes to do. He said that this kin of exercise produces somatotropin or the human growth hormone that is produced in the human body and excreted into the blood by the somatotrope cells of the pituitary gland.

He’s a video of the META-FIT workout that some volunteers did after the fun run.

Coach Jim has been talking about this workout, and I really think that I should really think about this and spend some time doing this. Hehe.

As a whole, the fun run went so well, that everybody went home with sweaty body and positive mind.

And as for me, I do had a happy experience again. I now love running.
And I can’t wait now for the next leg of this fun run.

Thanks, Immuvit and Coach Jim Saret for the inspiration and the talks that you’ve been sharing to all of us! Til our next run! Go, Team Immuvit!
