BGC Food Tour: The Stock Market

If you are looking for a place to eat where healthy and fresh are parts of the menu, well, look no more, because there’s this one place that offers both PLUS some “kilig-to-the bones” smile – The Stock Market.

The Stock Market at Bonifacio High Street

We’re still with Mr. Ivan Man Dy of www.oldmanilawalks.com for the Bonifacio Global City Food Tour.

Mr. Ivan Man Dy

I’m so glad that right after Italliani’s, our next foodie destination was The Stock Market. And to be honest, I think, any food trips in Bonifacio High Street wouldn’t be complete without The Stock Market on the list.

The pleasant exterior and the homey feel of the interior, I really love this place. This place is really dear to me, too, because this is where I first joined a cooking contest. Though, we (with fellow food bloggers) didn’t win, still, the experience was fantastic.

I’m quite familiar with the kind of dishes they’re offering so I wasn’t expecting much, though, tasting their delicious meals again is always a pleasure. AND IT’S FOR FREE for Pete’s sake! Hahaha!

After you read this blog and a plan to visit this place comes across your mind, here are the dishes that we tried with two-thumbs up score from me.

Stock Market Fresh Harvest Salad with Pineapple Vinaigrette

First, the presentation was really nice – appetizing even from afar. As I dug in and took my first bite, the crunch, smell and taste, no doubt that everything on this plate was fresh. I love how the pineapple vinaigrette added a little kick to the whole dish. It balances the sweetness of the banana and apple.

With this appetizer, I can’t wait for the main course.

New England Clam Chowder

This soup was delectable. I had this on my first visit to this place, and just like before, I’m speechless. I’d rather keep my mouth and hands busy digging in on this bowl of soup. Hahaha! I really, really love this soup, as always! Only here in The Stock Market. (wink-wink)

As for the main course, this was the crowd’s favourite:

Fork-Tender Short Ribs with Sautéed Beans and Corn Risotto

As they always say, save the best for last.
And yeah, you read it right “fork-tender” short ribs.
So far, this was the best dish for me on this food tour.

The Stock Market is open for special functions and parties, a nice place for any special events. But if you just wanna indulge to some delicious food without worrying that much about calories or your health, The Stock Market is the best place for you! Guaranteed!

Till my next Bonifacio Global City foodie adventure!

Oh, you might be thinking that I missed something, right? Well, that’s what you should look for on my next BGC Food Tour blog. Hehehe.

Till next time! Happy eating!
