Celebrating Earth Day at Paradizoo Theme Farm!

Tomorrow, I am going to Paradizoo in Metro Tagaytay with my fellow bloggers to attend and celebrate Earth Day!  Wee! I’m really excited about this! This will be my first time to visit Paradizoo.

An event entitled “One Big Green Park”, we will be planting thousands of to celebrate the goodness of our mother planet to us. With us are representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Boy and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, PINE Tree, Bamboo Network, Shift 2 Neutral, University of the Philippines – Los Banos (UPLB), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), Seedling Bank (MAP ABCDF) and other media partners.

These thousands of seedlings will be planted in different areas of Paradizoo Theme Farm in Mendez Cavite (April 22 to 23, 2010), Zoocobia Fun Zoo in Clark Pampanga (May 8, 2010) and Zoobic Safari in Subic (May 22, 2010).

This event is an initial advocacy program of Zoomanity Group to save Philippine forests and this will be my first time to attend an Earth Day celebration where I’ll get a chance to plant a seed in one of the famous landmarks in the country.

This great event will also be participated in by Enchanted Kingdom,
Manila Ocean Park and Splash Island.

So if you wanna be a part of this celebration, come and get a tree seedling by visiting the above mentioned theme parks and help us vote for a “One Big Green Park- Philippines.
