The Tooth Friendly Gum

Impossible, right? But believe me, it’s here in the Philippines!

Lotte, the leading confectionery in Japan, has brought Xylitol to our country to help promote good oral health.

Xylitol? What is Xylitol? Oh, don’t be scared, because though it may seem that it’s a big word, IT’S NOT!

Xylitol plays an important part in the process of promoting the production of saliva that helps remove food debris stuck in your teeth. It is natural sugar sweetener derived from birch trees and the fibres of many fruits and vegetables, which makes xylitol “tooth friendly” as it aids in the prevention of cavities.

And as Lotte introduces their new product, the Lottel Xylitol dental health gum, this launch was in connection with the Oral Health Month of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA). And it is Lotte’s pride and honour that their Lotte Xylitol is the only gum in the country that bears the PDA’s seal of recognition, making it the tooth friendly gum in the Philippines.

During the launch, the Power of 3 was unleashed too for good oral health.

So, if you like eating stuff like these:

Like I do! Hehehe.
Well, here’s the Power of 3 that I learned from the launch.

Power # 1: Brush after meals.

For a food blogger like me, it’s really hard for me to resist food. But there are time’s that I have to talk to people while dining or after eating, so I’m very cautious to what’s in my mouth or teeth during that time, that’s why after eating I brush my teeth or even gargle a mouth wash to cleanse my mouth.

Remember: Choose a good toothbrush, which can reach all teeth surfaces and is gentle on teeth and gums. Use toothpaste with flouride. And, when brushing, spend 30 seconds on each section of your mouth. Proper brushing, along with flossing and gargling with mouthwash, remove dental plaque. These keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Power # 2: Visit the dentist regularly.

Ever since I loss a tooth and have a fake tooth in replacement of the lost one, I regularly visit my dentist, Dr. Mike. I usually ask him stuff that can help me maintain white teeth and stuff about how to avoid bad breath. It is important to have your teeth checked by dentist so you would exactly what to do.

Power # 3: Chew Lotte Xylitol Gum.

To complement proper toothbrushing and regular visits to the dentist, LOTTE XYLITOL Dental Health Gum, further maintains good oral health. As a dental health gum, LOTTE XYLITOL is the Third Power that effectively helps in protecting teeth. Xylitol thwarts the process of dental plaque and cavity build-up. And it advisable to chew two pellets of Lotte Xylitol, four to five times a day for healthier teeth and gum.

Lotte Xylitol comes in three flavours Blueberry Mint, Fresh Mint, and Lime Mint in blister packs or bottles.

I like the Blueberry!

So, now that Lotte Xylitol, the worry of having a decayed tooth or bad breath will be over because with this Power of 3, a nice smile and lovely breath is what every one should have.

Thanks, Lotte!
