Food Trip at SM San Lazaro

SM San Lazaro has been a reliable mall not just for me but for all Manileños who are living in the northern part of the city. It has been a great addition to our community, not just by supplying our needs but also like a reliable friend you can always depend on.

Really, thank God that SM San Lazaro is just around the corner, making my life easier. May it be for a fashion emergency, or some mall strolling with friends or just simply food tripping, SM San Lazaro is my BFF when it comes to malls.

And now, with its Food Court offering a wide selection of sumptuous meals that anybody would enjoy, I’d say that SM San Lazaro, you’re the best!

At the bloggers event that I attend last Saturday in this mall, I get to know and taste almost all of the delicious offerings they have for all of their loyal patrons.

If you are in here to try some fingers foods, have a taste of Master Siomai. These yummy treats are great appetizers or simply “merienda” that boost your energy for a wonderful meal ahead. I suggest that you match this one with their Black Gulaman, it’s really delicious!

If you want something a little heavier, try Turks’ shawarma. I’m a sucker for shawarma, and I’d say that Turk’s has one of the best shawarmas in town. And I know some people don’t like shawarma because of the aftertaste or the smell that leaves it to their breath, so here’s a good suggestion for you to deal with this issue. Try having a tea after eating shawarma or simply black gulaman and a gum afterwards. By that, you don’t have to be conscious about your smell or your breath.

But if you are a vegetarian and just wanna enjoy the food here in the food court, look no more, because Kuya’s is offering fresh spring rolls at an affordable price.

For some serious eating stuff, which I normally do when I’m in SM San Lazaro…

I haven’t tried Lots’a Pizza for a very long time, and tasting it last Saturday with 25% more toppings, I’d say that their pizza is getting better and better. Really, really making its way because it has a lot of toppings and tasted really yummy! perfect for big eaters or you can have it boxed and bring it home as a “pasalubong.”

For rice dishes, if you are on a budget, but wanted to have something really, really good, there’s no better choice than to have Binalot. I love their Tapa Rap Sarap and Fiesta Adobo! Enjoy the awesome Pinoy delicacies wrapped in banana leaves.

And when it comes to more local dishes, Inihaw also offers something great from the southern Luzon, their version of Bicol Express.

While Mega offers something that all of the attendees of this event couldn’t resist, the Mega Platter.

With these Mega platters, I’m sure your craving for seafood will be surely satisfied.

Another dish during this event that made mouth watered was the Lydia’s paella with crispy lechon skin on top.

Oh, heaven! Super love it! Really fantastic! I’d be glad to have this three times a day! Hahaha! (well, except when I have my allergies. lols)

And lastly, to cleanse it all, a dessert fits perfectly with all of these yummy dishes!

And you will find the best and fresh deserts in Buko ni Fruitas.

Buko ni Fruitas

Perfect for the hot this summer season, and perfect for those who are health conscious because this one here is all made of fresh fruits.
