The 20th Year of Philippine Science Centrum

It was my first time to enter this facility, and though, it was still obvious how much this place suffered from Ondoy, I was amazed and delighted to see what's in store for everybody here.

It was said that Philippine Science Centrum (PSC) was the first hands-on and interactive science museum that celebrates its 20th year. And for 20 years, it didn't fail to give science a fun and exciting look.

Thanks to its founding members who kept and still keeping this wonderful project alive up until now and for our future generations.

And for those who haven't been here, here's what in store for you guys:

The entrance fee is Php100 for a maximum of 1 and a half hour. Children below 2 years old and teachers are free of charge. While senior citizens (with ID, of course) can avail the 50% discount.

PSC is located at Riverbanks Center in Marikina City. And they are open Monday to Saturday, from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

It was such a wonderful experience. That is if you think like a kid like me and even if you are "allergic" to science you'll enjoy this place. Hehehe.
I love science when I was a kid, and after I went here, all the memories brought back to me, I can't help but to schedule some trips this coming summer to other science museums in the metro.

Congratulations to Philippine Science Centrum!
May you have 20 more years to come!

The cool thing about the PSC is that the exhibits keep changing. They regularly get damaged (kids can be destructive) so the 100 or so gadgets get rotated. Let's try to organize a guided tour next time para may mag-explain.

Thanks for coming. :)
